When I am ready

When I am ready, I will smile. You’ll have to wait a little while. It’s one of the first things i learn to do, I want it to be just right for you.

When I am ready I will sleep through. There may be small things that you can do To help me do it. But you’ll soon see, That in the end it’s up to me.

When I am ready I will crawl. And then you will have no peace at all. Into everything I will be, No time for your nice cup of tea.

When I am ready I will walk. And when I am ready I will talk. Then that’s it, big milestones done. (Though you will still cherish ones to come)

Was I really as small as that? Helpless and tiny in booties and hat? And much as you tried to enjoy each part, There was that wish inside your heart.

Will you ever get there you used to say? As you wished my babyhood away. The others are doing it why aren’t you? Because it’s not my time - if only you knew.

That all that worry was a waste of time. The decision of when was always mine. I did it in the end, nice and steady. I told you I would do it when I was ready!!

Well hello all if anyone still looks lol…. well my baby girls is now 6 months old. It was a very long labour and she was born with the cord around her neck and was blue and not breathing so was rushed off and from there was fine! here is a pic of here for you. I will give a full description ans some pics from birth to now for you of Nicole and family tommorrow if i get a chance

well as the title suggests i have 14 days to go and tell you what it cant come soon enough everything just aches now!! lol will post more tomorrow need to do some house stuff got a bit of sorting out to do still.

well as the title suggests i think i have begun nesting like for example i am on my hands and knees scrubbing away at cupboards and the shower and bathroom even tho we are still doing decorating and keep cleaning the kitchen if i see just the one crumb etc. its CRAZY as my hips and back are ready to give in for good i think yet my body just wont let me stop …….. I NEED TO CLEAN!! lol

I have also today besides the above i have second coated the living room so thats all done ready for Daddy bear to lay the laminate flooring, i have finished off the babies walk in wardrobes i have painted them to freshen them all up just need to do the border in her room which i think ill do next! also i have painted all the wood in the bathroom ( the bottom half of the walls are wooden slats from previous owners ) and also done one wall in the dining room with its second coat but unfortuantely have run out of paint so need to go get some more tomorrow but by tomorrow night that will also be done! So off to do her border then collapse with a brew. Have some stuff here for the attic which i am itching to pit away but just know i will get stuck so another job for Daddy Bear i thinks!

.. well the paint o the walls in babies room anyways finished them off today so gonna gloss the skirting boards tomorrow and then tis all done. i have to paint dining room tomorrow also well give it a second coat and the living room and then the wooden floor can go down in the living room, anyways am gonna try and go sleep but little one is not very tired at the moment ans keeps moving which is actually quite painful at time ( how the heck am i gonna cope with labour!) lol.

lol yes as the title clearly suggests i am back, i have been on maternity leave for 2 weeks now and had no access to the tinternet as was waiting to be hooked up with sky broadband adn finally it has happened. On the baby front went to see the midwife on tuesday and the baby is 1 fifth engaged so another 4 to go and we are cooking on gas. I am now 35 weeks pregnant and 36 weeks on sunday so the justy over 4 weeks left which is very scary infact but now i cant wait as i have had just as much as i can take me thinks as every possible part of my body just aches and its not fair lol. At least tho at 37 weeks i am considered full term so should could come then and that way she will be fully cooked lol! As for the house it is slowly coming along now most of the paint is on just needs another coat on the down stairs walls and then the floor laying and Bobs ya uncle, mine and Adams room is done just needs wardrobes building but that aint top of list at mo and spare room or ‘ red room ‘ as its known is done just needs a carpet laying and babys room is partly done 2 walls needs a second coat of paint as i run out and its done so will move her stuff in there tomorrow so its all in the one place oh and the border is up on half the room thats done and its gorg will take sone piucs once i get the camera here. so fingers crossed we can move in at the weekend if all is painted down stairs and i cant wait to get my own space etc with all my stuff around me…. well i am off to paint babies room now as i am stuck indoors on this glorious day waiting for the sky man to come and install my sky + then gotta wait for scottish power tomorrow its just a waiting waiting game for me at the moment!! lol

well i went for a glucose tolerance test last thursday and thankfully the results came back as normal today so all is good just need to watch my sugar intake. My next midwives appointment is on the 05/06 so will see if it has altered then. On a happy note all the house stuff is now completed and signed and exchanged so just waiting as we collect the keys on Friday 01/06 just awaiting the phone call from the solicitors to give the go ahead then we can go home lol. cant wait to get in and make it our own and a home for our baby she is due is 12 weeks that is not long at all really consider i have done 28 weeks already thats very scary! lol

The baby is a wriggler bum anyways she is always wriggling around and also we are looking after my aunties dog at the moment and when he barks she jumps as she is not used to that sound at all lol. At least she is really active although its always at 05.00 am she is at her most active lol. People have been really good to me though i have been giving two black bags full of baby clothes there are some totally gorgeous little outfits and hundreds of vests etc if she aint too big of a baby then i have enough there to not have to buy any thing else till she is 6 months old which is a bonus. lol

hi all sorry i have not been around much has been hectic sorting out all thi house malarkie and then last week i have a lil bleed so was in hospital over night but luckily all was fine baby is well and growing well and i am fine was just one of them things really. I cant belive that i am 27 weeks now only 13 more to go that is very scary! well on the house from Adam has signed the contract and its just me top go sign this week so hopefully have the keys on 1st June all being well i am sooo excited a first real home even if it does include a boy lol. i have got my aunties nuttie dog 2 10 days from saturday as well which i cant wait as he is lovely and makes me laugh is is the cutest most stupid dog i know lol. As for baby she is a right wriggle bum she makes huge movements now i can see my whole belly shake and bits stick out when she is on the move. xx

oh my god i have to live with a boy soon lol. We have been giving the all ok for the mortgage now just waiting for the contracts to be drawn up by the solicitor and then i can go in and get the house looking liveble but its well scary n exciting all in one. we are hoping it will only be a couple of weeks before we can get the keys to the house as no one needs to move out etc so fingers crossed but we will see hey as there could always be something else that needs signing etc which can stall the process for us but i will keep you updated as i know.

On the baby front she is all well kicking loads she know exactly where to kick to make me need the loo too the clever bean lol. i am 24 weeks now today so only 16 weeks to go this is getting all very real. We have got loads for her now i have bought my pram its a graco one with car seat and car base etc its black n silver and i have a moses basket and loadsa clothes, bottles, dummies, blankets and have a sterilzer and my friend has offered us a bouncer too so its all coming together. need to deide on her room soon too as we have the house thinking really light pink on the walls but will have to see when we are in there.
